I don’t think many people will really care but let’s do this anyway, okay?
So hi. My name is Danielle (lots of people call me Dani, feel free to do so if you want). I’m Canadian, which for some reason seems to be my major qualifier on the internet even though obviously in my everyday life the fact that I’m Canadian is not particularly extraordinary.
I’m a nerd. I love Star Trek, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Sherlock, Firefly, and lots of other random nerdy things. And when I say I’m a nerd, I do mean it. I mean I’m the unabashedly, jump up and down in my seat, totally excited, nerd. I am not ashamed (well, sometimes I am, around normal people.
I’m a bit of a girly girl. I like to believe that hopeless romance will happen to me, even if I’m practical enough to know that it doesn’t just happen, that you gotta try and work for it. I love romantic comedies, especially if they’re good, like Love Actually or Bridget Jones’s Diary or basically anything with Colin Firth…
I love British things (you might have guessed that by some of my other interests). I do though, I want to go to England some day and, you know, run around looking pretty and having tea and calling things smashing. And yes I’m aware that the English people will think I’m annoying.
Speaking of English people, I have a lot of friends online, both those I have met in person and those I haven’t. And if you try and tell me that my online friends aren’t ‘real’, I will punch you. ‘Cause I love them dearly and I’ll fight you.
Basically there’s no real ‘theme’ of this tumblr, it’s kind of just whatever the hell I feel like reblogging on any given day…sooo yeah. Say hi, I’m pretty nice :)
